RONIT & ORLY - GLASS & METAL

Ronit Dagan and Orly Wexler:

Inspired by Mondrian's work, we transferred his neo-plastic concept of straight lines and square shapes to a glass and silver body sculpture. Black lines were replaced by transparent lines, stretching and distorting the primary shape. The original primary colours were substituted with black onyx and blue lapis. The necklace was given a three-dimensional effect by layering shapes to different heights.
